Trading in Stocks with LTP Calculator
In the Indian stock market, there are two major Exchange: National Stock Exchange (NSE) and the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). The BSE has around 5600 stocks, while the NSE has around 2500 stocks. Out of these 2500 stocks, around 230 are listed in the F&O segment on the NSE. With the LTP calculator, we can trade only these F&O listed stocks on the NSE.
Using the LTP Calculator, you can trade stocks in both Intraday and Swing. Intraday trading involves opening and closing positions on the same day, while Swing trading is a strategy that focuses on holding positions for a few days to take advantage of short-term price movements.

On IDaddy Blast, you will get the following terms, which you must learn to trade stocks with IDaddy Blast. These terms include –
Point Value (PV) on IDaddy Blast refers to the target and stoploss of a trade. This value is half of the difference between two strike prices. If you initiate a trade using IDaddy Blast, PV will be your target and PV will also be your stoploss.
For example, in the image above, ABFRL has a PV of 2.5.
- Suppose you bought ABFRL at 272.50; your target will be 272.50 + PV = 275.00, and your stoploss (SL) will be 272.50 – PV = 270.00.
- Suppose you short (sell) ABFRL at 281.65, your target will be 281.65 – PV = 279.15, and your SL will be 281.65 + PV = 284.15.

C1, C2 and P1, P2 refers to the diversion values in call side and put side on the option chain. At 9:25 AM, the calculator records immediate diversions, labeled as C1 (immediate support) and P1 (immediate resistance) on IDaddy Blast. Since these represent immediate diversions, they are considered risky trades. At the same time, the LTP Calculator also records the next level of diversions — labeled as P2 (immediate resistance +1) and C2 (immediate support -1) on IDaddy Blast, which are considered moderate trades.

Step 01: Open the IDaddy Blast at 9:25 AM on LTP Calculator.
Step 02: Customize IDaddy Blast to match your trading style or simply visit the ‘Show Nearest Stocks’ section located in the top-right corner of IDaddy Blast.

Now, you have the list of stocks with their entry price, stop loss, and target. Should you enter the trade directly, or is there another step that needs to be followed? The answer is Yes, there is another important step that must be followed to make a successful trade.
Step 04: If the highlighted box is in the C1/C2 column, you need to take the bullish trade. As we have already learned, for a bullish trade, you must check the bullish risk, which should be 0, 1, or a maximum of 2. If the bullish risk is above 2, it will increase the risk.
Similarly, if the highlighted box is in the P1/P2 column, you need to take the bearish trade. As we have already learned, for a bearish trade, you must check the bearish risk, which should also be 0, 1, or a maximum of 2. If the bearish risk is above 2, it will increase the risk.
Step 05: Now, if everything is perfect, the last step is to check the chart of the stock. If the stock has already touched either the C1 or P1 level (check from 09:15), we will ignore both C1 and P1 trades. Then, we will look for the C2 and P2 levels. If the stock has already touched either the C2 or P2 level, we will again ignore both C2 and P2 trades.
Step 06: Always trade with a strict stop-loss and target. There should be no mercy or emotions involved. Prefer stocks with high volume (focus on Nifty 50 and Nifty 100 stocks).

Trading Methods in IDaddy Picks
Step 01: Go to the ‘iDaddy Picks’ section on the LTP Calculator and select your desired stock.
Step 02: Open the option chain of that stock and match the following rules as described in the image: if you choose a stock from the bullish list, match it with the bullish column; if you choose a stock from the bearish list, match it with the bearish column.
Step 03: If the stock is not fulfilling all the criteria, ignore that stock.
Step 04: If the stock fits our rules, then we will consider starting the trade. But where will we initiate the trade? We will initiate the trade from the Extensions. I know this is a new term for you, but I am here to teach you everything.
Step 05: If you are going to take a bullish trade, then you need to find the support. However, the market doesn’t reverse directly from support; it will reverse from few points below it. That extra point, from where the market will reverse, is called the extension of support. To get the value of the Extension of Support (EOS), you need to click on the volume of support. From this EOS, we will initiate the bullish trade.
If you are going to take a bearish trade, then you need to find the resistance. However, the market doesn’t reverse directly from resistance; it will reverse from few points above it. That extra point, from where the market will reverse, is called the extension of resistance. To get the value of the Extension of Resistance (EOR), you need to click on the volume of resistance. From this EOR, we will initiate the bearish trade.

Conversely, if a stock is trading near the highest open interest on the call side, it will appear in the Bearish List. For Bullish stocks, you can trade in cash, futures, and options. But for Bearish stocks, your options are limited to futures and options only.
